After yesterday's ride the rest of the day was spent at rest. A very quiet and restful day. Pheebs beavered away at her Art, Gel prepared for a meeting today at the Guild, and I, er watched Match of the Day.
Today (monday) I had been invited to an alfresco dining experience in Wythenshawe. This is an irregular event, but is not diverted by the weather. Here is the location, Wythenshawe outdoor market.
As you can see, although the weather was somewhat inclement, however we did have cover. Here are my fellow diners (L-R: M, G, N, and Phil)
I did take a picture of Wythenshawe from near the top of the car park, however it's on me other computer and I can't be bothered going go my office to retrieve it, so I'll post it tomorrow. It was nice to catch up with the guys.

Hat of the Day
Founded on 1901 the Washington Senators had a slightly complicated life as in 1961 they moved to Minneapolis and St Paul to become the Minnesota Twins. They were immediately replaced by a new franchise with the same name (the Senators, not the Minnesota Twins), and stayed for 10 years before they went off to become the Texas Rangers.
Washington then had no professional baseball team until 2005 when a new franchise was created and named the Washington Nationals. I bought this cap in 2008 during a visit to Nationals Park.
Just last week the Nationals appointed a new manager - Dusty Baker - to replace the previous incumbent - Matt Williams - who failed to make the playoffs despite the optimism of a squad capable of going the whole way.
Next season, next season......that's the great thing about sports. There's always next season. Catchers and pitchers report for Spring Training around the 18th Feb 2016.
The selfie was taken in the pedestrian walkway outside Asda in Wythenshawe. Not sure why I look so worried.
