Phantom Ride

So, if a tree falls in the forest, and there's no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?

This one's even better.

If a cyclist does a regular ride in the winter wind and rain, but forgets to set his "app" running, does it count?

Met with P for a coffee at lunch. Talked the sort of bollocks that most blokes talk about when they meet. All trivia. Nothing of significance. Thoroughly lovely.

I then whizzed off to downtown West Didsbury, to those nice people at Frames who are going to frame my Tommy Smith picture. If you are in need of something framing then they are the people.

Comp night at the Photo Club last night, and my indifferent form continues. I always get over optimistic about how good my images are. However, I have the comfort of knowing that I was beaten by some very nice images. No shame in that.

I've been reviewing some of my older pics, and found one that will scare the life out of you. Enjoy.

I was out on the campaign trail during the Wythenshawe and Sale East by-election. I had spent an a half hour following Yvette Cooper MP, along with Mike Kane who was the Labour candidate (and is now MP for Wythenshawe and Sale East).

This is a shot where the two had set off for their next meeting, but when I called them, they came back for a photo opportunity.

On the way back to my car, these two hove into view.

There had been a UKIP event at the same time, which might have explained why I was the only photographer covering the former event.
